Cheese
Scotland’s undisputed cheese guru, I J Mellis of Edinburgh, supplies all our cheeses. Over the past 27 years, Mellis have built up an outstanding reputation for selecting and supplying the best Scottish artisan farmhouse cheeses from across the length and breadth of Scotland, as well as further afield. This means you can be sure that the cheese in our boxes are some of the best tasting Scottish cheeses available.
Charcuterie meats
Our Charcuterie meats consist of finely sliced peppered salami that bursts with a sweet slightly zingy flavour, Milano salami with a rich yet delicate taste and soft, melt in the mouth Prosciutto with a sweet, salty and nutty flavour. The only word to describe these meats is yum!
Oatcakes
We make our own oatcakes here at East Lothian Deli Box from an old family recipe and, even if we do say so ourselves, these really are delicious! Enjoy these with cheese, pate, butter or on their own – once you start eating them we bet you can’t stop!
Butter
What is there to say about butter we hear you say? Well, this is not just any old butter, ours is from The Edinburgh Butter Co. It is made in small batches using locally sourced cream that is slow churned to produce a beautiful and delicious high quality butter. Used by some of the best restaurants and foodie parlours in Scotland, this butter is perfect for slathering onto some bread or oatcakes and topping off with pate, cheese or some delicious charcuterie meats.
Bread
We only use freshly baked bread in all of our boxes, baked on the premises to ensure that you have the best tasting, crusty bread to enjoy with our Deli Graze Boxes.
Broccoli Salad
A super tasty, crunchy zingy pot of loveliness. Homemade using our own secret recipe, this is sure to become everyone’s favourite alternative to boring coleslaw.
Quiche
These delicious quiches are made on the premises to Rod’s favourite recipe and provide a soft, creamy textured unctuous treat.

In addition, we have an allergies label on the inside of every box delivered. What size do I need?
Individual
These are for 1 person, providing a tasty and filling meal. This size of box could alternatively be used to provide two starter sized portions (although we would recommend eating the lot yourself!)
Regular
An ideal size to provide a great and satisfying main meal for 2 people. The regular size could also be used to provide a starter for up to 4 people.
Large
Our largest box which will easily feed 4 people or could be used to provide a starter for up to 6/8 people.
How to get the best out of your boxes?
As these are freshly made we would strongly recommend that these boxes are eaten (and enjoyed) on the same day they are delivered. Simply remove the outer packaging and allow the contents to come to room temperature, then dig in and enjoy!
